I am not quire sure I understand the question. What, if any, work is in progress? What does the red tag say?

i was emailed this picture and was asked to look at it.
it was tagged by the City of Houston Texas. i have to meet
with inspector tomorrow. just want to know if anyone can
see why it would have a red tag.

If the garage is not going to be rebuilt, have the poco cut the drop, pull the meter and demo it.
It might be possible to reuse it if the garage was rebuilt, but it would still be easier and safer to remove as above and reinstall.

Any ideas on what to do about this red tag on this service.
it is mounted on what use to be the attached garage that was
damaged and removed after a hurricane.

I don't know you guys in the United States do it, but here in California I'd call the POCO and get them to give me a spot (location on exterior of house) so I could relocate the service to the house itself.

I will have more information tomorrow.
My first choice would be to relocate to the side of the house.
i will reply back tomorrow with what the inspector has to say :-?

still not sure what we looking at here. So was the drop like this before the huricane ? How is house being fed ? Not sure why they even keeping that house, i know its hard to be poor but that house looks like needs dozed down.
