Is there a standard color for a strobe to indicate the presence of hazardous gas?

Clear for fire and amber for MNS are the only defined colors I am aware of.

Nothing in NFPA 72. NFPA 5000 only requires an alarm system for gas detection that produces a signal distinct from the fire alarm, no indication as to strobe color. For what it's worth, Stanford Univeristy uses blue. When I was with Emcore in New Jersey, we used amber (~1998).

I agree.

We use what ever is not already being used and the staff is trained to notice it. For instance in a sewage plant for H2S we used green, but the methane system was yellow/amber (no MNS present). I use blue for delayed egress/access control and burg systems, but thats me.
