I have (20) of these ballast on a circuit how would you figure out the current draw?

what I have is 20 of these ballast being install over about a 1600' trail on utility pole. The incoming service is 120/208. I need to figure out what size transformer i need to power all 20.


185 * 20 = 3700 watts

3700/100 = 3.7 KVA

If i am correct i should be aboe to get away with a 5 KVA transformers??

my above calc was for 480 volt, your 208 volt would be .88x20=17.78 amps=3.7kva,

IMO a 5.0 would do it
