How about a Friday pic? Physical damage could take some time. Anyone know what type of straps those are?

Interesting never seen those before yet that picture here. Thanks for the link Mark.

I know they used to be available for EMT, Electroline used to make them. T&B bought out Electroline and all I can find is NOS on the 'Net. I was looking for some type of UL listing.

I have seen them used on copper water pipe and in rare instances, EMT. I have not seen them (until here, today) used on anything flexible or alive.

Great pics!

I've never heard them call flat strap, I've always heard drive strap

Flat nailers, not flat straps.

Where is gets confusing is that some sparkys call the metal protectors for NMS nailers, too.

I have never used nailers for support but I do run across them rural areas.

If I was good enough with a hammer to be able to drive a flat nailer into solid oak without crushing the thinwall in the process, I would have a REAL job building houses somewhere.

I've seen them nailed into mortar joints. Never used them, though.

The closest I've come to using those is the old nail-in antenna cable stand-offs.
