Does the attic fan need to be on a dedicated breaker?

We've been installing alot of Broan Solar Attic Fans. I don't think they need a breaker at all

If you use a motor rated switch- usually 20Amp rated, (single pole((asuming 120V)) as a means of disconnect your good. Sorry not sitting w/ a Code book... or i'd give you the refenrence of up to 1/8 HP.

At 3.4 amps the answer is no. Take a look at 210.23(A)(2).
