Confused on 517.13 B exception#2

Does this exception concerning light fixtures 7 1/2 ft above floor mean health care m/c is not required, it states an equipment grounding return path complying with 517.13 (A). This section states the wiring method shall itself qualify as an equipment grounding conductor which regular m/c would not. I was told concerning light fixtures you would install health care m/c to first fixture then jump remaining lights with regular m/c.

Standard MC cable can't be used for light fixtures in a patient care area of a health care facility.

As you pointed out 517.13(B) Exception #2 only permits you to eliminate the insulated equipment grounding conductor for luminaires above 7 1/2 feet in a patient care area, the wiring method itself must still comply with 517.13(A) and the raceway or sheath of the cable itself must qualify as the EGC in accordance with 250.118.
