Probably. But that will be up to your Local Utility they will be the ones to change out /or not the meter. At least that is the way it is here in Maine.

I would guess you have to call the poco to do it anyway, and they will take care of it, but it also might say what amperage it is rated at. I have found thatin the past the 100 amp meter was different than the 200/150 amp. Don't see many 100 amp services now but the new ones probably do both.

I just ran into this situation earlier this week when I was doing a service upgrade. The meter itself was fine, but the meter pan was only rated up to 100 amps. I had to install a new meter pan, but the old meter could be used with the upgraded service.
