Wire Connector/Splice

1. I want to splice #8cu wire to #12 cu wire in a junction box. What type of connector do I use? Is this in violation of NEC 110.14 (A)?
2. Is there a way to terminate #8 cu wires to a 20A branch circuit breaker in a panelboard?

Cu to Cu ?
There are many listed products available from wire nuts to split bolts, etc.
No violation per se.. if Cu to AL the options are fewer.
2. Is there a way to terminate #8 cu wires to a 20A branch circuit breaker in a panelboard?
most manufacturer (if not all) 20 amp breakers will accept a #8

To add: If you are not in violation of section 110.3, then i don't see what the problem is!!
