Is there a way to isolate conduit in class 1 div 1 --it is a low voltage 24vdc circuit run through this conduit and all devices are properly rated--need to avoid grounding the device that the conduit connects to.
Sched 80 pvc is not allowed above ground, as are many possible solutions that are ok in class 1 div 2
What i need is a rated non conductive coupling--dream on right?

Not sure if there is a compliant solution. But before going any further, please explain why this 24Vdc device should not be grounded...???

This is the critical question. See Section 501.30 (read ALL of it VERY carefully). Proper grounding/bonding is extremely important in Classified locations, whether Division 1 or 2. Note also that that even Intrinsically Safe equipment enclosures must be properly grounded. See Section 504.50.

Isolation of the device's circuit should be accomplished inside the device's enclosure, if necessary - not through isolating the enclosure from system grounding/bonding.
