What to use for conduit? C1D1

This may be a stoopid question. What do I use for the actual conduit in a C1D1 environment? Galvanized SCH40 pipe?

Take a look at 501.10(A) in the 2008 code. Note, you can never use galvanized SCH40 pipe for electrical work. You would have to use rigid galvanized steel conduit.

Thanks, I only had an outdated NEC1996. I got a copy of NEC2008 now and I see what to use now.
