NICE DEMO-
had to chime in here.
dropping a gfci protected "powerstrip" (like used in offices for a computer) into a bucket of water will not trip the gfci, (if there is no ECG) either...
i know this to be true, thanks to the founder of this website. BEST seminar i ever attended, i would go again in a heartbeat (thanks Mike!)
he demonstrated this clearly by dropping his powerstrip (that had his laptop, overhead projector, etc plugged into it) into a pitcher of ice water. everything was fine, still powered. then -(get THIS part)- he TOOK A DRINK OUT OF THE PITCHER while everything was powered up.
i know ---in theory--- this works, but THE MAN lives it...
mr holt is da' man....

he did mention "getting a tickle" every once in a while on the lip. possibly from potential difference (dry lips v wet?)

I attended that seminar as well, and I remember being shocked :roll: by that demonstration.
