Bonding of service raceways

If I have a mechanical bond ran on the exterior of my wire way (trougth) do I have to strip my bonding conductor and choke it with a metal connector (I think its a kennedy connector or two screw connector) prior to hitting my ground bar in a panel or a ground bar in the wire way (trougth) or can you bring the bonding conductor into wire way (trougth) via plastic button connector then hit the ground bar.

The Kenny Clamp, grounding and bonding connector, bonds the grounding electrode conductor to panelboards, switchboards, cutout boxes, metallic conduit, boxes and transformer enclosures.

I would like to add that IMHO there is no NEC requirement to use a Kenny Clamp. I know of nothing in the NEC that requires any specific fitting where a bonding jumper enters an enclosure unless the bonding jumper is installed in a metal raceway.
