baseboard heat lv thermostat

In the 70's federal pacific made electric heat and the electrician would install a relay with a transformer in the end of the heater to supply power to a 24 volt thermostat . Is anyone aware of a electromechanical relay U.L listed to be mounted in a baseboard. Stelpro makes one that has a CSA us ratings would that be accepted.

Wow, the only heating relays I ever saw for this application were made by Honeywell and they were in their own enclosure. We would normally just install them at the panel.
