COPALUM certification

Anyone have thoughts on COPALUM certification? Do you think it's worth the $750 price tag for the training and certification?

Is that all it costs? I seem to recall a much higher cost, minimum class size ... and severe scheduling issues. Dare I say it, but it sure seemed Tyco really didn't want to ever sell those connectors.

Keep in mind that there are other alternatives. Apart from the much maligned purple wire nuts, there are the T&B marettes that are rated (CSA) for the application, as well as the King connectors.

I'm certified, but I've never used it. I didn't know anyone was still doing it. I haven't had anyone ask me a question about that in years.
