Cellular Metal Floor Raceway

When you have removed an insert in a cellular metal floor. Is it permisable to permanently patch with concrete? I dont see anything in the nec stating this is not allowed.

Two inches of concrete covering according to the code is considered outside and/or safe. Your question pertains to two things to be considered. 1) Building code if applicable and 2) The UL listing of the named raceway. To me IMO it's fine, but to CYA I would ask UL or the raceway manufacturer for a letter of approval or apply for an electrical permit for inspection of what was done. Once the inspection is performed it will be held for the life of the building as record. Hope this helps. I had something similiar a couple years ago and myself and the building inspector deemed it free of hazard and safe, a letter was presented by the construction official and all was well in the kingdom. The issue is not getting the conduit to be considered outside the building.
