Have a customer who is wanting an 8" opening 200W recessed Dimming light fixture. I have found the 8" recessed CFL fixture, however I cannot seem to find one with a dimmer ballast installed. I am looking at CFL's because that is what the customer is wanting. They are happy with something even equal to approximately 150w incandescent as the lights will almost always be turned down low for the type of work being done in the space.
I really do not want to charge to replace a perfectly fine ballast with a new one just to have a dimmer rating. I have called grainger, and local graybar. I have googled until my eyeballs bled and so I am now asking (begging) for some advice on this one. Thank you in advance.
