We are working a commercial renovation and have discovered some abandoned Walkerduct in slab, single duct , no divider. In a effort to utilize this as a raceway and avoid trenching concrete, is it an acceptable practice to run 12/2 MC cable and Cat 5 tel/data in same duct? Does the outer jacket of the MC act as a divider ?

Sounds OK from a code standpoint. Can you pull MC cables into the duct without damaging it? It needs to comply with this:

Bends in Type MC cable shall be so made that the cable will not be damaged. The radius of the curve of the inner edge of any bend shall not be less than required in 330.24(A) through (C).
(A) Smooth Sheath.
(1) Ten times the external diameter of the metallic sheath for cable not more than 19 mm (? in.) in external diameter
(2) Twelve times the external diameter of the metallic sheath for cable more than 19 mm (? in.) but not more than 38 mm (1? in.) in external diameter
(3) Fifteen times the external diameter of the metallic sheath for cable more than 38 mm (1? in.) in external diameter
(B) Interlocked-Type Armor or Corrugated Sheath. Seven times the external diameter of the metallic sheath.

I think this could be an issue.

390.4 Size of Conductors. No conductor larger than that
for which the raceway is designed shall be installed in
underfloor raceways.

Is Walkerduct designed for MC cable?
