Renovation unknown?

When Bidding a Kitchen or Bathroom Renovation if the existing circuits are unknown do you figure all new circuits or bill the needed circuits as "extras"? I usually figure worst case but trying to tighten up.

It would depend on the age of the house. A fairly new one I may plan on using the existing wires but in general I look to gut and replace.

Based on my own experience, you'll almost certainly need to pull a circuit for the micro/hood, and maybe a 3 wire for the dishwasher/disposal. The small app. circuit(s) are usually adequate.
