Is UL the only valid certification?

Here is a list of the OSHA Nationally Recognized Testing Labs. Listing by any of these should be acceptable. The CE mark is not acceptable as that is a self certification, it does not require testing by an independent lab.

NRTL's do not approve products rather they test, certifiy, & list products to the applicable recognized standard.

In the case of solar PV equipment, any of the NRTL's can test, certify & list the PV product to ANSI/UL 1703, for example.

Listing is one of the methods used to determine product approval by your local AHJ.

It would be interesting to know of NJ's incentive programs have any restrictions such as only accepting UL listed equipment. I tried a little googling and couldn't find an answer.
