I thought that the standard radius for PVC 90s was 18"?

Usually the POCOs want either a 24" or 36" radius. I have been on a couple jobs where we were installing pipe for fibre and they spec'd 36" radius for all 45s and 90s.

My heart was with the EC right up until I saw it was PVC. It's too easy to get any radius you want out of it - he screwed up and should make it right to the specs.

The standard radius is different for each size of PVC.

Also there in no reason to purchase special radius elbows if you only need a couple. They are easily made with a hotbox.

Here are the Carlon specs on the PVC elbows.

POCO's usually have a very thick & stiff HV underground feeder coming in to a transformer. That's why they want a wide radius 90. That stuff would be hard, if not impossible, to pull in a tighter one.
