NEC 300.22(C)(1)

Hi Guys, haven't been on the forum in awhile. I have a question concerning the above NEC section. In the 2008 NEC the text was revised to include the words "and raceways" in the following rule:

Other types of cables and raceways shall be permitted to be installed in electrical metallic tubing, flexible metallic tubing, intermediate metal conduit, flexible metal conduit, or, where accessible, surface metal raceway or metal wireway with metal covers or solid bottom metal cable tray with solid metal covers.

My question is this:

How do you install a raceway inside another raceway such as the types mentioned above?

Run FMC in a trough for Class 2 wires.

A short section of 6" RMC dropped through the floor as a sleeve for a 4" EMT passing through.

That's good. But what about flexible metallic tubing? What could you fit inside that? The largest size is 3/4".

Alright, now the above NEC section pertains to air handling spaces. Have you ever seen any of he suggested installations in air handling spaces?
