It's easy. Just remember the "beer and foam analogy." It goes like this: "If you drink Bourbon, you don't have to worry about foam!" :happyyes:
Maker's Mark IIRC.

Maybe I should have paid more attention in my apprenticeship.... The black wire in an AC circuit is considered positive?
Also, in the circuit described, when did a "feeder" enter the equation?
Guess I will just never get this electric stuff:happyno:
Pete
Ask him how long a short circuit really is.
Them danged ole silver screws on them switches always confuse me, never know which one to connect the neutral to.

On 2 completely separate occasions years apart I saw DIYers that bought 4/way switches instead of single pole so that they would have places to connect the neutrals. (both times I was there because wiring was screwed up).
Hey I forgot about those! Seen it more than once. Or a 3/way used to replace sp, ground hooked to one of the traveller screws, wouldn't trip breaker unless they flipped switch. That and the newer SP switches with a grounding screw make ideal replacements for older 3 way switches (with no grounding screw).... they both have 3 screws for connecting your wires.
Yes, learnin' all kinds of things today! Didn't know I was supposed to look for the brass- and silver-colored screws on switches, too.I also was confused by the reference to the neutral connection on switches...
? Screws what are they for, what are the holes in the back for? lol
