I need some advise to make a job as practical as possible.
I am running multi-conductor tray cable (TC) in cable tray out to 40 motors (38@10hp or less, 2@50hp). Each cable runs from the tray (into conduit) to a local disconnect within 10-20ft of the motor. My question concerns the short conduit run (10-20?) between the local disconnect and motor. Should I continue to use the multi-conductor (TC) or switch to single conductor between the local disconnect and motor. What makes more sense for keeping it simple for the installation contractor?
