I have noticed a trend of people taking offense to some adjectives and adverbs.

I see in a recent thread someone found the need to defend the word appear as not meaning 'not real', but rather 'what is seen'.
Have we forgotten our industry refers to Power as Apparent and Real (VA and W respectively)?

Maybe we need to start communicating like lawyers, how many pages did it it take to define "is".;)

Since part of the apparent power will be real power, I would have to say that apparent is meant to mean 'what is seen'.
