I know that your working space can overlap doors such as in a shallow electrical closet, but what if those doors lead to the exterior of a building? Should you try to keep your working space confined within the room (thinking about outdoor conditions like rain, storms, etc)? Is there a code reference?

Thanks.

Should you? I should. Would it be a code violation if you don't? It would not. As to code references, try the second sentence of 90.1(B). :happyyes:
