In another thread the OP advised he was required to use UF (or a method other than NM) to enter the back of a box mounted on the extrior of a block wall.
What method is allowed in your area ?

We can talk all day about rather an area inside a piece of electrical equipment can be wet or damp. The fact of the matter is, it can be both, depending on the ambient temperature, or conditions. But, based on code, the installation of #1-3 is fine?depending on your jurisdictional code.
