I understand auxiliary Equipment associated with the central heating equipment is permitted to be in connect to the same branch circuit. We'll typically install a single receptacle for a condensate pump. Does that receptacle need to be GFCI protected?

I agree with Ron.:)

If the condensate pump is installed in an unfinished portion of a basement then it would be required to be GFCI protected. (See 210.8(A)(5))
