Is it permissible to run NM cable below floor joist in an unfinished basement, supported by bridal rings, cables would be bundled so appropriate derating factors would have to be applied:happyno:

I would agree with the others. But if you have a reason that you want to do this, you could put up a 1X3 wood runner. Drive a romex (TM) staple about every 2 feet (almost all the in, just enough to get a tyrap through), then use ty-raps to attach the bundle to the staples. Makes for a neat and compliant install.
