Sump Pump Diversity...

Planning on putting a total of (4) four 7-1/2 HP sump pumps onto an Emergency generator... what type of diversity would you expect, as it would be highly doubtful that all (4) pumps would ever be running at the same time?

You could however plan that not all (4) would start at the same time, so you can account for all at full load and starting one.

I am not sure I would count on that, I would want to see the installation first.

All it would take is one tripped feeder and you have four sump pumps off line and who will be paying for the potential damage?
