Just because animal hospitals are not covered doesn't mean you couldn't use 517 methods if you want to.

Just know who you are bidding against. Adding extra cost in the bid for things not on the document has cost many contractors to lose work.

I'm going to take the other side if the coin. Imo it should fall under wiring for patient care areas although not required, but for the protection of the staff working with the equipment on the "better than human" patients. We wired a horse clinic the same as if it were a clinic for people. Not for the patient so much as the staff.
