Greetings,
I have been informed that ul style 3284, 600 volt, 125degree, appliance wire has a higher allowable ampacity as compared to a 90 degree THHN. I know that you cannot load up a conductor past 75 degrees without damaging lugs. Does the ampacity for this cable stiil need to be selected from 310-16 or is there a table for such high temp cables.

I think you answered your own question. 60 or 75 degree terminations are still going to limit you to ampacities in 310.16. You can use the higher temperature rating for ambient conditions though.
