I hear that this is different in Canada...I don't have the CEC, but understand that ALL receptacle devices on a 20A ckt must be 20A devices. Not allowed to use multiple 15A devices on a 20A ckt.
Can anyone confirm this?

thanks!

A single 15 amp receptacle is not permitted on a 20 amp circuit but a single 20 amp receptacle is permitted on a 15 amp circuit.

2-15 amp receptacles (one duplex) are permitted on a 20 amp circuit but a duplex 20 amp receptacle is not permitted on a 15 amp circuit. Confusing.

Can't speak for the CEC.
