Any one have any preferences on manufacturers or tips to pass along. Seems to be so much "hype" out there about this technology, I've been a bit skeptical about using it. I have about a dozen coves to do, all straight angles, most under 30 ft. Customers seem set on using LED.

Depends on what you want. I'm a fan of Maxlite's undercabinet lighting. Maxlite has a pretty good reputation in my book, lights are fully dimmable, and mount really easily. Most of it is DLC compliant and ready for state/utility rebates. Probably right in that $40 per linear foot area.

ModaLight also makes some color changing stuff, LED tape, etc. http://www.maxlite.com/products/plug-and-play-led-lightbars

I have customers clamoring for LED all the time, it seems. I have a guy right now with a seven figure project clamoring for LED. I've since stopped trying to convince people otherwise. I'll suggest looking at something else, if they want LED they can have it.
