Here is what I have.

A stairway that goes up 3 flights.
Each flight has a 2'x4' florescent wraparound.

ONE (1) switch controlling them at the bottom of the stairs.

Owner is wondering about adding a switch at the top of the stairs.

I could wire a 3 way up there, but the way the place was built, quite a bit of patching would need to be done. I know the Lutron RF switches dim, so not really the way to go with the florescent fixtures.

Anybody have any experience and good reviews for some sort of wireless (RF) switch. Looking at around 30' distance with some floors and walls in the straight path.

Yep, I agree with Dennis, Lutron PICO is the way to go. It is standard Lutron quality which means it works. A stock item finally for most Lutron suppliers.

Although I've used the Lutron Picos often, I'm not fond of the HO's having to replace the batteries every so often. Also, although they have a wall mount option available they just don't look like a switch. Looks like a remote stuck on the wall. For similar cost, I prefer these:

The action of pushing the switch generates enough electricity to send an on or off signal to the light, looks just like a "real" decora.
