I was reading through some RFI responses and this was one.

" please verify that " Rigid Conduit" does not represent Rigid galvanized steel and EMT is acceptable.

As far as I know EMT is a thin wall conduit and RMC is not so RMC can't be EMT, correct? Thanks

RMC can be steel, stainless steel or aluminum....

Yes EMT is not RMC. Look at articles 344.2 and 358.2.
