We've begun to replace the EMT with RMC. To achieve the 2 hour fire rating the engineers have to chosen to surround the RMC with a 2 hour fire rated enclosure.

Are you using THHN? The UL document is not real clear to me that it applies to RHH conductors, as it seems to refer to cable assemblies.

When the conduit run is complete I believe that the redesigned feeders will utilize SimPull THHN.

That looks like one of the types that is no longer permitted since it lost it's listing.

Agreed. And I know am clear on the fact that it also applies to RHH installed in EMT or RGS, as that is known as FHIT, which is field constructed "Electrical Circuit Protective Systems".
