Do they make a motion sensor switch that will fit in a normal toggle switch cover

objection to a standard switch mounted motion sensor that fits a Decora cover plate ?

I've never seen one and I work for a lighting rep. I'd think I woulda seen this somewhere if it existed.

Using a ceiling sensor might be the way to go here.

Yep.

For a 5 gang application with motion sensors & switches I would install Decora switches also known as: rocker or paddle or block

style switches. Then your motion sensor would fit in any space of the switch plate

In the future, Leviton makes custom plates for this type of application. It's basically a plate with custom inserts so you can put in whatever size single or two gang items you want. It's usually special order but not overly expensive.
