Hi Guys,

I can't seem to find anywhere in the 2008 NEC where the code states how to identify a wire type system bonding jumper. A screw type is supposed to be green. ...but a wire type? Is it supposed to be green? Black with green tape, for example? Maybe I'm just missing the obvious.

Thanks!

A grounding electrode conductor or bonding jumper has no color directive nor does it apply to a screw, clamp, etc. I often mark the ends but it is not necessary

If you look at 250.28(B) it states that if the system bonding jumper is a screw only it must be green in color. I like to mark the wire with green tape as well.
