PM ON CIRCUIT BREAKERS

My company just had a westighouse ds or dsl taken out of service last week for pm or testing and brough back the next day.
Should their company furnish the results of the testing and state what was included in the testing ? We were thinking all pm would be at our facility. We are not really sure what type of work should have been done.
If anyone had this type of work to their breakers can you expand on what you know about this work.

For a single circuit breaker we would remove it from site for testing, it is easier to move the circuit breaker to the test set than the test set to the circuit breaker..

Prior to asking for testing and PM, you should asked for a Scope of services included in any work to be performed. We furnish this so there will be no issues later.

PM on a DS, they might remove the cover and see if there are any glaring problems and clean the, vacuum. Assuming this is a draw out CB, they should clean the bus stabs and lubricate per Eaton literature utilizing grease that is specified. All functions of the CB are checked Aux contacts, UV relay or shunt trip.

THe circuit breaker is high current tested, the power contacts are ductored (contact resistance measured) and the circuit breaker is meggered. A detailed test report is submitted to the customer detailing all test and any issues noted.
