GFCI's

Good Morning, I went to a home yesterday where a home inspection had been completed. In the inspection he noted most of the outlets didn't have a ground at them. Once I inspected it. 80% of the home is still wired with romex without a ground. What's the best way to make this safe without installing new wires. I was told GFCI outlets needed to be used at each outlet, but have been unable to pin point that in the code. Thanks for the help.

If I understand right, using 406.3.D.3C I can install a GFCI breaker or outlet at the start of the circuit and as long as I properly mark the outlets that will work?

That is correct. You can even install 3 wire receptacles as long as they are marked with the stickers in the gfci box- no equipment groung
