But the used one is already burnt in, enhancing the sound quality!!!LMAO

But we have no way of knowing what kind of music the original owner was listening to, so the burn-in might not be a benefit at all.
There may be a burned-in afterimage of really loud drums, for example.

The rapidly developing science of homeopathic audio has not, IMHO, gotten the respect it deserves.

First there was the cryogenic stereo 15amp receptacle for $1500

Then TADA!

T[/URL]he $10K patch cable.

the cable ends are made from unobtainium, and that isn't cheap, y'know....

there was a thread on this silliness a while ago on here, and apparently
we all need a laugh again...

the camera nuts with their purity of digital image are a close second....
since my new camera requires a degree to operate it, and an 800 page
manual. (i'm serious here) i've been looking on photo forums, and the
mania is every bit as hilarious there as it is in the stereo forums.

Read the comments--One person upgraded the cable by wrapping it in platinum, then fabricated a hat with the remaining platinum for radio wave deflection (I assume)!

oh, dear god... i hadn't looked at the comments....

"When I switched the cable to be connected properly, I started seeing current website content again.
What the heck was going on? The only thing I can figure is that maybe the Denon cables pass electrons
at faster than the speed of light, effectively causing them to travel backwards in time."

the comments are worth the $10,000 admission price.
