Lamp wattage

If you change lamps to a higher wattage does that change the load on the circuit or any other previous calculation? Thanks

Yes you will change the load on the circuit
Unless the original load calculation was based on square footage or fixture rating rather than the actual installed fixtures and lamps.
It will certainly change the current drawn from the circuit, but it may not change the "load" associated with that circuit for the purpose of other calculations.

He also asked about calculations and those should be all set if done correctly from the start.

not always he did not say what he was dealing with it could be a dwelling and it could be commercial and it could be a contnuos load . /not really enough info to comment on the calculation aspect but changing watts does increase load on the circuiutr so that was all the answer I would give anything else would have been a SWAG

More wattage, more energy needed. If it applies to any calculations would depend on the criteria requested for the calculations.
