SEC (Again)

Common thread with me - however, each one is just a little different (or so I perceive). Messenger wire is the only support for the SEC from the service mast down to the wall below the roof skirt. Am I correct that the SEC should be supported no more than 6 feet apart. What about the wrap around the gutter?

SE cable should be supported as NM cable- 4 1/2" and within 12" of the fitting. This install is an embarrassment and should never have been allowed

A strap or two and secure the weatherhead to the fascia and you're good to go. Going around the gutter is a somewhat common installation around here.

It should be sleeved in pipe through that roof. As such, I would have done it all in pipe. It would look better and be safer.
