Perhaps asked and answered...

When moving circuits from an interior panelboard (now jbox) to newly installed exterior load center in a back to back install - is it acceptable to use one service conductor sized neutral conductor for all circuits ran thru the existing nipple to the existing "floated" neutral bar in new jbox/old panel?

2008 NEC applies but I have seen the change in 2011, 200.4.

Thanks for the opinions.

To me it appears that 200.4 makes that a violation as of the 2011 Code.

200.4 Neutral Conductors.






Neutral conductors shall not be used for more than one branch circuit, for more than one multiwire branch circuit, or for more than one set of ungrounded feeder conductors unless specifically permitted elsewhere in this Code.
