I have 208v power in a building but a construction crew needs 240v/15 amp power. What is my best solution for temporary power. Is the only solution a 208/240 4KVA buck boost transformer?

Sure there is but there is far more where there is no matter at all.

I agree, but we have no idea, all we know is that the OP said 240 was needed.

If I was the OP I would be asking more about the equipment before making a decision. I am seeing more and more foreign tools on jobs that need 230 volts.

I did say I was curious.

That's part of the problem right there. What are you doing to keep these foreign tools out of our country.

Don't you have to go to work? I know I have to get some sleep.

:D

The last two items I had to deal with were a chicken roaster and a smoker.

As much as some national 'green' / 'support the community' supermarkets charge for their products they are very cheap when it comes to buying equipment and it is almost always some odd ball stuff from a foreign land.

Don't you have to go to work?

5:30 AM and yeah I am off to a supply house shortly.
