Would somebody tell me what is bucket fuse to be installed adjacent to the existing swithgear and / to supply or protect some temporary installed panel board.

Never heard of it. There is a lot of slang out there the language of which is unique to a give location.it could be a fused safety switch. Ask the person who said to use a bucket switch to describe what it is or hand that person a catalog and point it out.

The operant word is switch gear. Bucket fuses or "buckets" are the boxes that house everything from fuses, MCB, motor controllers, etc. and they usually "stab" into the bus. So if they want a bucket fuse prior to a switch, they usually want a set of fuses. Also, when growing up there was this girl in my neighborhood we called bucket, but that is for another thread....:happysad:
