Just came across the annex h about ppe. Would this be a must to follow when a study has been completed ? I see from the labels that ppe is used not the EI of the equipment . When would annex h be required ? Thanks for the help.
Unless it is specifically adopted by your AHJ annex H is not part of the code.
Annex H is not a part of the requirements of this NFPA document and is included for informational purposes only. This annex is informative unless specifically adopted by the local jurisdiction adopting the National Electrical Code?.
Also after a arc flash study has been done can a person dress up to the level of the EI or is it a must it has to be at the level of ppe on the label ?
