Anybody found any practical value in the equipment that lets you see inside stuff by way of tiny camera on end of flexible cable attached to small tv screen? For example, quickly seeing inside of a difficult to fish wall/space.

There are quite a few on the market
Ridgid makes one.

I had seen one that attaches to a Iphone by a customer who was going to manufacture it never saw it on the market.

Yup, they can be very handy. When I bought one for a particular fish, it got used on three jobs the first week. We probably use it once a month on average.

Wouldn't it need a light on it to see into a dark space?

Yes it would, although a fiber optic light source with the bulb or LED back at the outside end of the scope is a common way to keep the lens end small.

Some inspection mirrors have a light in the handle that bounces off the mirror to illuminate what you are looking at.
