hi all im new to the site. so here is my question........ I have 60 h/rs coming into my panel room, all 12/2 mc. I need to sleeve these coming thru the wall. I have looked up code for bundling and cant find anything on sending only 3 wires per penetration. I have never been knocked down in the past for this. my project manager and i went back and forth about this. also if sticking 10 wires per pipe is considered bundling then why can I run my wires from my trough thru pipe into my panel. to me that's bundling. so any help for this new comer would be greatly appreciated.....thanks

Welcome to the Forum.
In the '08 Code, bundling of MC is covered by 310.15(B)(a)(2) Exception 5 (pg 70-146).
See if that helps. If not ask more :D

The "wire thu pipe" question is clarified in 310.15(B)(2)(a) also

If the sleeve is 24" or less and there is no other bundling beyond the sleeve then derating doesn't apply. Since you're using all #12 conductors 310.15(B)(3)(a)(4)&(5) may apply. (4) would allow up to 20 CCC's to be bundled without any derating required.
