Busway Above Drop Ceiling

Management is talking about adding a drop ceiling in part of our manufacturing floor . We have busways that would then be above the drop ceiling and would contain bus disconnect switches . This drop ceiling air space would then be used for return air . Looking at 368.2 would this not be a NEC violation ?
